We’re at Gomér & Andersson in Nyköping to explore an art form with a thousand-year history. Originally developed in China, it later adorned the finest dining tables across Europe, and over a century after that, became what some might call "a respectable hobby" for the affluent women of the late 19th century. This is porcelain painting, and here we’re presented with the full range of this art form. Painted jugs, cups, and, of course, plates are on display, as well as miniatures, candelabras, and even a tea table tray resting on a Gustavian-style stand.
Welcome to experience the breadth of this timeless craft!
