A concentration of quality is presented as Crafoord Auctions in Stockholm welcomes you to the Spring Evening Sale! Among the 50 lots, you will find classic Swedish painting, internationally acclaimed prints, and masterful craftsmanship. A fine example of the latter is Märta Måås-Fjetterström's pile carpet Il Greco, composed in 1935, and an excellent representative of modern rug art. Among the graphic prints, featuring works by Le Corbusier and Jim Dine, Henri Matisse's aquatint L'Espagnole reigns supreme—a rare piece on the Swedish market from 1925. From the previous year, we have an oil painting in a majestic format executed by Gottfrid Kallstenius. A summer sun sets among the trees in front of the viewer, who can catch a glimpse of the blue water in the background. This is complemented by a collection of mixed pearls and curiosities. The first issue of Kalle Anka & Co (Donald Duck & Co), Mats Paulsson's concert guitar, and a Russian vodka bottle from the early 1900s are just a taste of what's available. There are plenty of other treasures. Welcome!
