Six late Gustavian chairs attributed to Ephraim Ståhl are placed beneath an Empire chandelier. A silver necklace made by Anders Arvidsson Castman in Eksjö in 1793 shares display space with a football signed by Real Madrid's starting eleven from 1966. And on the bookshelf stands a copy of C L Grubb's substantial collection of proverbs from the second half of the 17th century. Add to this a wealth of beautiful objects, including a mahogany chiffonier by Carl Hendric Blom, a Japonesque folding screen, a ladle holder, a cameo brooch, an English stilton spoon, Iwan Constantin Johansson's stretching swans against a pale blue-pink sky, a pair of substantial caryatids and much more besides.
