Formstad's Prints

Printmaking is an art form where craft, idea and reproducibility come together in a concentrated expression. This edition of Prints presents a broad and well-balanced selection that reflects the variety of graphics. Among the highlights, Roland Svensson stands out with several archipelago motifs, including "Winter Twilight in Sandhamn", where the low-key winter light and the stripped-down environment create a quiet drama. Svensson's graphics capture the topography and atmosphere of the archipelago with great certainty, where color, surfaces and horizons interact to create a wonderful mood.

James Coignard is represented with the folder "A L'Endroit de L'Envers" from 1973, an object that emphasizes graphics as a coherent project rather than individual sheets.
