Winter Fine Art Sale - All items at Stockholms Auktionsverk Fine Art

Stockholms Auktionsverk kicks off 2025 with a richly curated art auction! The selection spans a wide range, from classic paintings to works from the contemporary art scene. Nestled in between are several gems from early modernism. Among these are a small composition in yellow and black by Otto G. Carlsund, GAN's Megaphone in the Jungle, and a meticulously crafted still life by Hilding Linnqvist. A nude study by Maurice Brianchon stands out as one of several contributions from the continent's modern schools.

The auction also features works by Ragnar Sandberg, Madeleine Pyk, Hugo Birger, Einar Jolin, and Linn Fernström, to name just a few. Additionally, a fascinating piece by an anonymous artist depicts a modernist-rendered locomotive billowing smoke as it emerges from a cityscape.
