Stockholms Auktionsverk is pleased to once again present a live auction dedicated to prints.
The Prints & Editions Sale includes over 200 works from the history of Western printmaking – from Albrecht Dürer and Rembrandt to James Rosenquist and Andy Warhol. As expected, it also features international greats such as Chagall, Matisse, Miró and Picasso.
The auction also includes a number of works by artists who are less commonly represented on the Swedish auction market. These include, among others, the Americans Mary Cassatt, John Taylor Arms, Joseph Pennell, James Abbot McNeill Whistler and Richard Diebenkorn. Particularly noteworthy are the auction’s rare prints by the Expressionists Conrad Felixmüller, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Käthe Kollwitz, Emil Nolde and Egon Schiele.
This auction offers both prints suitable for the home and rare collectors’ items. It provides an opportunity to acquire works by some of the most significant artists at attractive price levels.
