Ostermayer Munich as well as *Raufrost*, landscape format winter landscape in the light of the setting sun, approx. 36 x 26 cm, in profile, the landscape, portrait and horse painter Ernst Ludwig Ostermayer (Weilheim ad Teck *1868 - † 1918) was a student at the Karlsruhe Academy and the Académie Julian in Paris, he also studied with Roubaud in Munich and Haug in Stuttgart and was based in Munich from 1903, in the last year of the World War he fell as a war painter on the western front.
