KAJ Gustaf-Adolf Olofsson PIEHL Visual artist, draftsman, born 1921 in Ardre, Gotland county, died 2000. He studied at Lena Börjeson's sculpture school, Signe Barth's painting school, and with Otte Sköld and Isaac Grünewald. He made study trips in Southern Europe and North Africa. He painted abstract nature-inspired expressionism with fresh and varied color.
Public decoration: Vindlek, Kungsholmen's learning work, Stockholm, Light play among flowers, Långbro hospital, Cosmic vision.
Represented: National Museum in Stockholm, Moderna Muséet in Stockholm.
