These two items are both hallmarked silver.
The salt dish is hallmarked 1897 Birmingham, England, makers mark GU, (George Unite).
The salt has three shell and hoof feet.
The salt weighs 71.4 grams.
The silver dish is hallmarked 1874 Birmingham England , the makers mark is H H.
The inside of the dish is a faux tortoiseshell liner with inlaid silver filigree design, the liner clips into place.
The dish weighs 20.1 grams without the liner, with the liner the total weight is 28.8 grams.
Total weight of items is 100.2 grams.

Victorian / pre owned
