Mahal with a brick red ground and a central medallion in cream white, dark blue and light blue with accents of beige and rust pink. The field is richly decorated with scrolling floral vines, palmettes, stylized flowers and arabesques in a harmonious colour palette. The corners have a dark blue ground with detailed floral ornamentation. The wide dark blue main border is adorned with large floral ornaments and intertwined vines in brick red, cream white and light blue, surrounded by several narrow decorative guard borders.
The pile is wool and the warp is cotton.
