Sarouk. Dark blue field with an elegant, floral-shaped medallion in light blue, beige, rust orange, and red. The central field is richly decorated with symmetrically arranged floral ornaments, palmettes, arabesques, and meandering leafy vines in light blue, beige, red, pink, and golden yellow. The corner spandrels have a light beige ground with detailed floral decor. The wide brick-red main border is adorned with large palmettes, stylized flowers, and meandering plant motifs in dark blue, light blue, and beige, surrounded by narrower decorative borders.
The pile is wool and the warp is cotton.
