Keshan. Red ground with an elegant, floral-shaped central medallion, decorated in dark blue, off-white, light blue, and beige. The field is adorned with a detailed and symmetrical pattern of floral ornamentation, palmettes, arabesques, and meandering vines in blue, green, pink, and beige. Dark blue corner spandrels with stylized floral motifs. The wide dark blue main border is decorated with large palmettes, flowers, and meandering plant motifs in harmonizing colors.
The pile is wool and the warp is cotton.
