Rolf Palm (1930-2018) had his workshop and kiln in Mölle on the Kulla Peninsula. He threw, glazed, and fired, doing everything himself, and had little patience for "those who sit and draw and order ready-made glazes while having others do the craft," as he once said. Stellan Olsson writes in his book "På grund av lera" that Rolf Palm's stoneware can sometimes resemble pine trunks, that his stoneware has a coarse, robust character where the clay has contact with the exterior and breaks through the glaze with iron spots and knots. /MP
