A pair of pots with blue-white underglaze painting, marked Chien-lung Height 8.4 cm Provenance: Danish private collection belonging to a woman who was employed at the Danish Embassy in Beijing during the late 1950s. The pots and other high-class antiques were purchased on the antique street Liu Li Chang 'Potter Street', in the past this site produced both grave figures and roof riders intended for the Forbidden City in Beijing.
