Light Keshan with an elegant ivory-coloured ground and a classic central medallion in harmonious shades of light blue, beige and dark blue. The symmetrical field is richly decorated with stylized flowers, palmettes and meandering arabesques that give the carpet an airy and sophisticated expression. The wide ivory-coloured main border, filled with floral vines and palmettes, is framed by narrower decorative borders that create a well-balanced overall impression. The fine wool pile together with the cotton warp provides a soft lustre and highlights the detailed Persian knotting.
