Description

Lock stamped “IRG”, traces of crown, ground down.

Brass fittings, partly stamped “RB”, possibly by the fittings maker Jöns Rundberg (b.1708) who at the age of 24 became a master at the Jönköping factory. (see “Svenska Böss- och pistolsmeder”, Kåa Wennberg, 1989, p. 201.)

Pipe, traces of crown/cut down, marked 1740, smooth bore, bare. approx. 16 mm, length approx. 34,8 cm

Total length approx. 53,5 cm.

Condition

Renovated, completed, ground down. Wear, partial damage, pipe bands and pins are missing. Hooks up in full and half buckles.
