The vase is monogram signed GP 08. Göran was 21-22 years old when he made the vase before changing his surname from Pettersson to Göran.

Göran Göran (1887-1921) was an art smith and one of the members of the Racken Colony. He was the son of and trained by Petter på Myra and married to the furniture maker Mia Persson, and father to the artist Niklas Göran.
