Background: Berit Ternell (1929-) was loaned “within the group” from the Gefle porcelain factory to Upsala-Ekeby to renew the range in the late 1960s. She also designed a number of series that definitely felt more modern, through a different design language and a daring color scheme, such as Manhattan, Reactor and Fleur.
