The painter Günther T. Schulz was born in Berlin and moved to Hamburg in 1936. He found his motifs in the Hanseatic city, during his travels and especially on Sylt. He gladly signed his works with “G.T.S.”. He also worked as an advertising artist and designed the original logo for the Bildzeitung.
