American artist Jack Lembeck is known for his illusionist paintings. He studied in Kansas and Yale where he worked as a lecturer until 1972. He established himself as a freelance artist in New York and exhibited at the Louis K. Meisel Gallery, among others. His works are in the permanent collections of the Guggenheim Museum, Phoenix Art Museum, Detroit Institute of Arts and the Orlando Museum of Art.
