PROVENANCE: Hans Georg Barlach Collection, Hamburg, acquired directly from the artist in the 1980s.
Fred Märker comes from Soltau. He studied in Braunschweig and London and received teaching assignments at HBK Braunschweig, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz and SANSURI Artcenter Sosansi, in Tschungnamdo, South Korea.
