Oak, cherry wood veneer, plum and maple wood inlays. Tripartite body. Fluted edge moldings. Bombé base, flattened pilasters. Conically tapering pendulum case with a round, glazed aperture. Glazed front door, the frame terminating in a segmental arch. Projecting round pediment, crowned on the sides by mounted spheres. Round, white enameled dial with Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes. Iron hands. Pendulum movement with hour strike on a bell. Pierced decorative elements in gilt metal. Dimensions: 230cm x 53cm x 26cm
CITES permit is included. Exporting outside the EU will require an additional export permit.
Condition
Molding on the left foot loose, missing on the right. Minor defects consistent with age. Dial with partial cracks and chipping at the edges of the keyholes.
