Terracotta patinated, on the plinth frontal title and artist: Amazone Enchainée (the bound Amazon) par M. Seman. Verso company stamp Fr. Goldscheider Vienna, additionally stamped Reproduction reservée, also model stamp 1065 and 1213. Representation of a young woman who is tied to a tree with both wrists and also at the hip with ribbons. Her slightly bent posture and her head turned sideways indicate a dramatic course. A point in time is recorded in the composition, which shows the figure frozen in tense expectation (clenched fist, stretching arm, fixed, sideways gaze). At her feet is also a bugle, which has become unusable due to her bondage. H: 71 cm.
