to include a 19th century brass-mounted figured walnut pen box the domed lid with applied neoclassical mounts including anthemion spandrels and theatrical mask escutcheons with swag chains 27cm wide, together with Victorian burr walnut veneered pen box the rectangular lid inlaid with a central marquetry sunburst motif within stringing, the box veneered inlaid with matching line-inlaid borders to sides 23cm wide (2).
Condition
the domed box surface scratches and appears to be lacking key hole escutcheon, and appears to have had more mounts to the lid, the other box with chips and losses to the veneer.
