The German-born artist Albert Bredow initially worked as a stage designer and worked in Riga and Tallinn, from 1856 at theaters in Moscow and Petersburg. From 1868 he studied at the Petersburg Academy of Arts.

Condition

Occasional retouching, backside covered with small patches, partly with superficial dirt and minor color chips.
