History:
“Nobody's Dogs” is a painting or rather a suite of paintings, associated with Staffan Hallström. The first painting was made in 1953, five years later the “definitive” version was added, which Moderna museet bought in the same year 1958. The painting immediately gained great interest with both audiences and critics. In a poll of the most popular works at Moderna Museet, Nobody's Dogs came in second place.
The theme fans already in cartoons in the 30s and then appeared throughout Staffan's life.
