Amulet container/Gau - Tibet 20th century, round with hinged glazed lid, meditating Buddha figure on the inside, filigree decoration and stone decoration, the gold-plated Kalachara mantra (literally “wheel of time”) is applied on the back, this “tenfold powerful mantra” consists of interlocking holy syllables that represent, among other things, the four elements air, fire, earth, water, flanked by the Lantsa letters “E” and “Vam”, which represent the Buddhist principle of the union of method and wisdom or the unity of emptiness and bliss Standing, dimensions approx. 6.5 x 6 cm, weight approx. 89g.
