The item is being sold to benefit Econef which is an independent organization building a children's center for orphans at the foot of Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania. The construction of the Econef Children's Center aims to create a sustainable and self-sufficient center containing an orphanage, school and staff housing. Note that only the lamp in the picture is sold.
