HMS Tre Kronor, officially HM Cruiser Tre Kronor, was the name of one of the Swedish Navy's cruisers. The ship was the first of the two ships in the Tre Kronor class, which consisted of Tre Kronor and sister ship HMS Göta Lejon. Tre Kronor was launched on 16 December 1944 at Götaverk in Gothenburg and christened by Crown Princess Louise. Together with its sister ship, Tre Kronor was the largest warship ever to be part of the Swedish Navy.
