The painter Ilse Tesdorpf was a student of Arthur Siebelist. She dealt with landscapes, Hamburg city views, still lifes and people. In 1918 she married the painter Henning Edens. In 1943, a bomb attack destroyed the joint studio on Rödingsmarkt and a large part of the work of both artists was lost. After the war, she made a fresh start with a studio in Wellingsbüttel.
