Description

Height 19 cm.
Diameter about 40 cm.
Total height including extension arms, approx. 108 cm.
Visual artist, sculptor, born 1927 in Luleå, died 2008. He was active in Stockholm and Österlen, Skåne.
He studied at Otte Sköld's painting school 1947-1948 and at the Art Academy 1948-1953.
He initially painted abstractly, but switched in the 1960s to an informal creation in deeper color. More recently, he also painted landscape motifs and portraits.
His sculptures in pewter were important creations in the form of candlesticks as arc patterns, as well as female and male figures. They are often mobile figures, moving with the burning time of the light, Pendulate Light. He belonged to one of our country's most noted tin sculptors.
