Museum shelf is a shelf that is part of the Museum series designed by the art architecture studio TAF for the String Furniture brand. String furniture and TAF were commissioned to design a console shelf for the opening of the newly renovated Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. Museum shelf is made of cast aluminum which is powder coated white. The inspiration behind the shelf comes from creating a versatile console shelf that can also carry Nationalmuseum's collection of busts or a glass of water next to the bed. Thanks to the versatility of the shelf, it can be used as both a side table or a shelf to place a work of art on.
