HMS Göta Lejon, officially HM Cruiser Göta Lejon was the name of a cruiser in the Swedish Navy. The ship was the second of the two ships in the Tre Kronor class, which consisted of Göta Lejon and sister ship HMS Tre Kronor. Göta Lejon was launched on 17 November 1945 and was christened by Crown Prince Gustav Adolf. In 1971, the ship was sold to Chile, renamed Almirante Latorre and served until 1984. On 15 September 1986, she was sold for scrapping to the Taiwanese company Shiong Yek Steel Corporation. Göta Lejon, together with her sister ship, was the largest warship ever to be part of the Swedish Navy.
