Sebastià Freixas Vivó (1930-2006) was a Catalan landscape painter born in Capellades and died in Terrassa. He began his career in an artistic family context and was mainly known for his landscapes, although he also painted still lifes and portraits.
Freixas Vivó's style combines Impressionist elements with a modern approach. His paintings capture the essence of nature and use a palette of vibrant colours and a loose brushstroke.
Condition
In good condition. Aged varnish. Frame in varnished and gilt wood.
