Miguel Berrocal (1933-2006), Alexandre Opus 113, 40-piece bronze, 1969-76, on the underside of the base with the stamped signature and numbering, copy 436/1000, ca. 13.5 x 7 x 3.5 cm (height x width x depth).
Included: Accompanying book with assembly instructions and imprint, numbered 436/1000, as well as the key and gloves, in a cardboard box approx. 11x26x21.5cm.
Berrocal studied in Madrid, followed by stays in Paris and Rome until he settled in Verona. He achieved international recognition with his demountable sculptures. His works were shown at documenta III in Kassel, among others, and are now shown in international collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
