A signed postcard with correspondence on the back to Frans Larsson.
Image dimensions: 15 x 10 cm
Ragnar Sandberg studied at Valand for Tor Bjurström from 1920 to 1925. His breakthrough as an artist came with his solo exhibition at the Swedish-French Art Gallery in Stockholm in 1939. Sandberg worked with strong color contrasts and his paintings are often naïve and burlesque. During the late 1930s, he emphasized more gray and black in his works as a contrast to the few color accents in his painting.
