Emma Lutteroth (1854-1894), Evening near Venice, oil on canvas, laid down on cardboard, signed lower left and inscribed with location, verso with a handwritten artist label, there signed and titled and inscribed with the address, approx. 34.5 x 29.5 cm, with frame approx. 54.6 x 49.4 cm.

Emma Lutteroth received her training from Carl Osterley in Hamburg, among others, and later from Hans Frederik Gude in Karlsruhe. The artist had been based in Munich since 1880.

Condition

Slightly darkened, tiny color loss upper left. Frame with small signs of wear.
