Yuan Te-Hsing, also known as Chu Ko (born 1944), is a leading contemporary Taiwanese artist, especialised in Chinese ink painting. Born in Taiwan, Chu Ko has conducted a long-term exploration of traditional Chinese painting, especially of Chinese ink. His style is a fusion of classical technique and contemporary elements, creating works that convey a sense of harmony and balance between tradition and modernity. His mastery of the Chinese ink technique creates abstract landscapes and organic shapes that evoke a deep connection to nature and spirituality. His work reflects a constant search for beauty and simplicity in an increasingly complex world, and he has achieved international recognition for his contribution to contemporary Chinese art.

Made for "Suite Olympic Centennial" and published by Centennial Editorial (Martí March) in Barcelona in 1992. Reference literature: M. Basso and C. Durán-Basté, "Suite Olympic Centennial: 50 Grands Peintres", Lausanne, Musée Olympique, 1994; "Suite Olympic Centennial: obra gráfica contemporánea", Málaga, Provincial Council of Málaga, Culture and Education Area, 1997.
