Pat Andrea (b. 1942) is a leading Dutch figurative artist. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. His style consists of surreal and dramatic figurative depictions, often with disturbing and symbolic elements. Andrea is known for his masterful use of colour and texture to create visually stunning and emotionally evocative compositions. His work focuses on universal topics such as loneliness, alienation and the human condition, exploring the subconscious and the surreal. During his career, he has worked in a variety of media, including oil painting, printmaking, drawing and sculpture.
