Art Period: Kamakura (1192–1333)

Appraisal/Certificate of Authenticity included from: NBTHK (Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kai) Tokubetsu Kicho = "Extraordinarily important work" (deep green paper). The sword was examined and issued by Hosokawa Moritatsu 細川護立 (1883-1970).

Nagasa: 70.9cm Sori: 2.4cm

The sword is of the "tachi" format and bears the signature Ichi (一).
