A box for grenades for 37 mm Infantry cannon m/34, later renamed to anti-tank cannon.
The cannon was developed by Bofors in the 1930s and sold to a number of countries, it was manufactured under license in Poland as well as Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands.
The grenades used included armor-piercing projectiles, explosive grenades and smoke grenades.
The box is made of metal and has the dimensions height approx. 27.5 cm, length approx. 28 cm, width approx. 5 cm.
The width of the grenade compartment is approx. 42-43 mm. The depth of the box at the grenade compartment is approx. 24 cm.
The different grenade types had different lengths.
The lid is covered on the inside with a felt-like material.
The box is equipped with a carrying handle in canvas, as well as handles for stacking.
No stamps to be found.
