The painting has been inherited via Aaby Eriksson, Gåfvetorp.
Ragnar Aaby-Ericsson, Dansjö, to Stig Aaby-Ericsson, Skövde, who obtained it in 1964, when it was renovated and reframed.
Sofie Ribbing was grandfather Aaby's aunt at Gåfvetorp.
