The 14 inch (36.5cm) painted dial with Roman chapter, Arabic minutes, seconds subsidiary, and moon phase to the upper section, painted season spandrels, the eight day twin train movement
with anchor escapement striking on a bell, contained in an inlaid mahogany case with swan check crested hood, Gothic arch trunk door, box base on bracket feet.
229cm overall height, 52cm maximum width.

Condition

not tested for functionality and not guaranteed, the dial with old craquelleure, trunk door doesn’t quite close, ,old shrinkage splits to the case, small losses, scratches and marks commensurate with age and use, later bracket feet.
