A bayonet m/1896 for the Swedish army rifle with the same year number and its shorter carbine version m/38.
The bayonet is made by EJAB in Eskilstuna and stamped with their crowned anchor.
The serial number is 287 and the bayonet belonged to soldier no. 117 of the 2nd company at I3 in Örebro. The Life Regiment's Grenadiers. (Södermanland company.) The bayonet lacks scabbard and carrying leather.
Total length approx. 33 cm, blade length approx. 21 cm.
