As a boy he emigrated to Alsace with his family after having fought for France in the First World War had served, he moved to Paris, where he lived and worked, source Internet, here is a landscape presentation of his numerous prints and watercolors of dogs up to mischief, print bed approx. 45 x 16.5 cm, bevel cut passepartout, behind glass in the frame approx. 58.5x31cm.
