A platinum Art Deco-styled ring set with an intense oval cabochon opal and baguette and round brilliant-cut diamonds.
Set to the centre of this fine quality, stylish ring is a natural oval cabochon opal weighing 1.78 carats.
This opal has an intense blue/green colour, with naturally-occurring flashes of green, evocative of the aurora.
The opal is surrounded by a halo of 10 tapered baguette-cut diamonds and 14 round brilliant-cut diamonds.
The total carat weight of all 24 diamonds is 0.37 carats. The approx colour and clarity of the diamonds is H-I, good SI.
The ring head measurements are 13 x 13mm approx.
The sides of this ring feature a swirling filigree pattern, and the shoulders have a double-split design.
This ring is tested as platinum and stamped "Pt 900".
