An exotic pendant and brooch combined, depicting a peacock, set with suspended cultured black pearls, ruby, marcasites and coloured enamel inlays.
This plique-à-jour piece has 3 oval black freshwater pearls each measuring 6 x 5mm approx suspended at the bottom.
It is set with a ruby gemstone eye and several round rose-cut marcasite stones in the head and body.
The bird's wings are inlaid with enamel in colours of green, yellow, orange and red.
This brooch / pendant is fitted with a hinged pin and a loop. The pieces measures 50 x 20mm approx.
This item is silver, stamped "925".
Total weight: 7.4 grams.
