Johann Friedrich Andreas Heimerdinger (1817 Altona/Elbe - 1882 Hamburg) was a German painter. Studied at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf, student of Professor Theodor Hildebrandt, and from 1842 to 1845 at the Art Academy in Munich. After an extensive study trip through Switzerland, he returned to Hamburg and founded a school for aspiring painters and sculptors. 1869 Participation in a large exhibition in the Munich Glass Palace, in the following years also in several exhibitions at the Art Academy in Vienna.
