Description

Turkish short sword, Yatagan, used between the 16th and 18th centuries by infantry, including the Ottoman Empire.
Length approx. 61 cm, height approx. 7 cm, width approx. 11 cm.
The length of the blade approx. 46 cm.
Blade bears traces of etchings and gold paint, and the coral ornamentation is partly still there but has faded.

Condition

The blade is rusty and the leg handle is a little loose.
