Landscape paintings from Wilhelm Nagel's estate, Wilhelm Nagel studied painting and architecture at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and at the Munich Academy. His study trips took him to several countries, including Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium and Holland.
Nagel had three children (Wilhelm, Reiner and Rosemarie) and was married to Marie Hettrich.
In 1943 he died in a bomb attack on Münster.
